Bluebelle's transplanted North

Bluebell, a blue Cornish, made it from her former home in Upland, California to her new home in Blanchard, Michigan. Julie, a Rexcue Railroad volunteer, got Bluebelle at the Detroit Metro Airport on March 6, 2002 and met Kim in Alma, Michigan that night. Kim took Bluebelle from there to their new home in Blanchard.

Julie's story: "Here's a picture of Bluebelle being handed over to Kim. Bluebelle was great despite a long trip, and everything went smoothly despite bad weather on the way up. It was great being able to participate in getting Bluebelle to a new home! If you need help again, please make sure to let me know!"

From Kim: "Bluebelle came out of her carrier after I went to bed. I could hear her footing around and scratching in the kitty litter - good kitty :o). Once in a while she would meow. She is hiding under the box spring in my son's room today, but I can reach in and pet her. It will probably take a couple days."

Later that day: "Bluebelle has made it home and is doing good. She is so soft! She is a little scared - not too bad though. I will send pictures when she settles down. Thanks Julie and Russell for bringing her to me. I really appreciate it. I wouldn't have been able to get her without your help. Thank you too Sherri for offering - you're great. You too Greta, you were lots of help. I will keep you posted on how she does."
